Today is 7th anniversary of Demonetisation in India. Prime Monster Modi this announced arbitrary and unplanned and unwise decision on 8th November 2016. I have written several times on this monumental blunder called “demonetisation” and I can’t vent my anger enough because the perpetrators of that act have not been punished yet. None of the stated objectives of demonetisation was achieved. It’s a total disaster and is still impacting the economy.
However it did help the Prime Monster, his political party and its parent organisation to amass thousands of crores of rupees.
Dr. Manmohan Singh correctly called it “organiser loot and legalised plunder”.
If this had happened in any other country the government would have collapsed. In India, the ruling party won with a bigger majority. That’s why India is and will continue to be in pathetic state till such toxic ideology and gutter level people are re-elected.
Hoping for their defeat in 2024!
