Social Media is a weird thing. Sometimes (actually a lot often) totally nonsense/useless content goes “viral” and gets disproportionate views/reviews and comments and a lot of times a few rare hidden gems remain hidden.
My endeavor always is to find hidden gems. I often get a feeling that there is some genius I am missing and I need to search for, always! Many a times I end up just wasting time sampling a lot of mediocre stuff. But on rare occasions, I find that genius and then the all the search is worth it!
One such person I discovered last yea was Parag Kar. I stumbled upon his Youtube video by serendipity. I think exactly 1 year back I posted a blog about his channel. Subsequently I connected with him on Linkedin (he was kind enough to accept my connection request). Since then I have been following his videos frequently. I am amazed by the length and breadth of his knowledge – about Economics, Telecom, Technology and his passion for sharing knowledge!
