गुणानामन्तरं प्रायः तज्ज्ञो जानाति नेतरः ।
मालतीमल्लिकामोदं घ्राणं वेत्ति न लोचनम्॥

One who has knowledge of the qualities alone knows the difference between qualities. The nose knows the measure (fragrance) of a jasmine flower, not the eye.
