Berkshire Hathaway’s Annual Shareholders Meeting for 2024 took place just a couple of days ago in Omaha, Nebraska.
It was a special one this year because it was the first meeting after passing away of Charlie Munger. Everybody was keen to see how Warren Buffett approached it and what he had to say about Charlie. I watched it live, even though it was very late in India (it went on till 3 AM).
The meeting was, as usual, excellent! Warren spoke about Charlie as a response to a question from a young kid about how he would spend time with Charlie if he gets one more day. Warren’s response was amazing and heartwarming!
At 93 years (he’ll turn 94 in August 2024), Warren has clearly slowed down; he speaks slowly, gets tired while speaking and the pitch is low. However, his memory is as sharp as ever and his mind is just getting sharper every day.
It’s a treasure to be able to witness his live speeches, discussions and comments. I don’t want to miss a single minute!
