A very interesting chess tournament happened recently, which was organised by FIDE. It was called “Intercontinental Championships for Prisoners” , and the team from India got the 3rd spot this event and won Bronze medal.
The team from India that won bronze was tue Yerwada prison team, which is in my hometown Pune (Yerwada Jail).
The coach of that team, Ketan Khaire, is someone I know since my childhood (happens to be a good friend of my cousins).
