I am at that stage of life when I don’t have to think of a better tomorrow. I however keep thinking of all the better yesterdays that I had had, I however live for the todays. I don’t know if there will be a tomorrow!
I don’t like hearing about such thoughts, no matter how true the harsh reality is. Warren Buffett (89 yrs old) and his partner Charlie Munger (95 yrs old) are still running their business and think and talk about “long term” bets – fully knowing that they wouldn’t be around to taste the fruits of their decisions. I like their approach and they didn’t have to read about “Karma Yog” or “Bhagvad Geeta” to figure that out.
Why can’t we all follow that path? And I am not talking about whether one is working or retired…it’s just about approach to life, till last moment…
