United Kingdom’s Queen Elizabeth – the longest serving Queen passed away last week and he last rites were conducted yesterday. There were long queues and even celebrities such as Beckham had to wait in queue for 10+ hours!
There have also been several memes and jokes about Queen’s death and Queen’s life and related events.
However, the smart and more obvious humour for any chess player was about the Queen, the King and how powerful they are in a game of chess (For the uninitiated, the Queen can move any number of square horizontally, vertically or diagonally; while the King can move the same way but only 1 square at a time).
