Kunal Kamra is a comedian with spine. While Samay Raina recently came up with his new stand-up comedy show to cover up and emerge from his controversy last year involving Ranveer Allahabadia (The BeerBiceps guy), Kunal had a court hearing around the same time for one of his stand-up comedy shows. Kunal refused to apologize and said that if he did, it would set a wrong precedence.
Comedians such as Varun Grover, Punit Pania, Kunal Kamra are different and rare because they don’t hesitate to criticize the current regime and the RSS. Kunal is even more special because he does it with conviction and faces the consequences.
Of late Kunal Kamra has started using his Youtube channel to amplify the voices, messages that speak to the powers and speak the truth. He uses his popularity to give platform to such people and contents that otherwise would not reach the wider audience.
